culture shock (ˈkʌltʃə ʃɒk) noun
the feeling of disorientation experienced by someone when they are suddenly subjected to an unfamiliar culture, way of life, or set of attitudes.
‘Culture Shock’ is about giving insight and ideas, from the latest in entertainment, arts, to science & technology and more.
The best of culture may be, at times, disorienting, but innovation usually starts with something that is exciting, a little off-centre and new.
Culture Shock is a site maintained by Sydney-based filmmaker, photographer and writer Charlotte Tai. Currently she works as a producer for 2SER 107.3, and is studying the combined Master of Creative Industries/Master of Media at Macquarie University.
