culture shock (ˈkʌltʃə ʃɒk) noun

the feeling of disorientation experienced by someone when they are suddenly subjected to an unfamiliar culture, way of life, or set of attitudes.

‘Culture Shock’ is about bringing insight and ideas into the latest in entertainment, arts, travel, science & technology and more.

The best of culture may be, at times, disorienting, but innovation usually starts with something that is exciting, a little off-centre and new.

Culture Shock is a site maintained by film director, writer, journalist, cinematographer and producer Charlotte Tai, a recent graduate in the Bachelor of Communication majoring in Media Arts Production/Journalism at Western Sydney University. Based in Sydney, Australia, Charlotte can often be found in the process of brainstorming her next greatest idea, while finding inspiration in the amazing facets of life, as she finds the key to telling a good story.
